For those that Expo left behind
Well, for those of us still here clicking refresh on forums and the like but with nothing happening it is a sad and boring time.

Mainly because everyone's gone to expo and I'm stuck here studying for exams!!! My university has been delightful to me and plopped all my heffer mahoosive exams in the same week which means I don't get to run around like a nut all weekend.

I've got nobody to help me procrastinate either *sigh* suppose I'll have to study...

I'm definitely going to October Expo.

My immediate next cosplay is for a friend's 21st which is my Anubis one. The next event one is Raven from Teen Titans for Bristol Cosplay Clubnight.

What about yours?

Cool you want to go in october too.

Aww why do I have to be too young to go to the bristol cosplay club thing (you do have to be 18 right.)

Well my next cosplay is Cloud The advent children version. Just need to get the money first. Why dose cosplay have to be such an expensive habbit of mine?

Yeah unfortunately since we hold it in a club their licence requires people to be 18. First one I went to I had massive issues over ID as my uni ID wasn't good enough (lets ignore that you HAVE to be 18 to go to university)

Cosplay is expensive if you want to do it well ^_^ I've found there are cosplays that you can do on the cheap. Charity Shops and making things myself are a godsend. Wigs are were most of my money goes, that and the materials for props.

I need to make a Yami Marik Wig and a new millennium rod >.<

I never get to go to the May expo.
It's always right in the middle of my exams, and I rarily have money for it around that time anyway.

October expo ftw, I guess.
Seems like quite a few people weren't 100% happy with the may one, I hope they improve until october. It costs me a small fortune to go, and I have to face my phobia of planes every time (2 hours with your buttocks flexed so tight you can barely feel your seat makes for a shape-up, at least there's that)...
I don't ever want to be disappointed with the expo. So far so good. Been 4 times I think.

My uni was also kind enough to put my first exam the day after expo. Can't go to October as I'll be at Fuyu instead.

Anyone else get Expo flu? I don't mean man flu or swine flu. Proper flu, I think myself and at least 3/4 of my cosplay group must have come down with it. Meant I had a very dodgy post Expo week. But considering how warm the hotel rooms were and how many of us we had drinking at our room parties it was bound to happen.
