I'm flying in on Wednesday, and I might need some fabric for one of my cosplays for Expo >.< And it would be nice to have a look in a proper fabric store again, as the one I've got in my local area is crap and has nothing

And one could easily see them once one got off the tube. Does someone here recognise this place and can tell me how to get there? Or tell me about other, easy to find, fabric stores in London?

They sell pretty much everything and are very very reasonably priced. There's another branch in Lewisham if that is closer to where you are staying.
There are also a lot of Indian fabric stores although often they only sell the fabric in sets to make shalwar kameez, so be careful not to only pick up one part of the set and mess their displays up. For easy to find - John Lewis also do fabric but they don't have a tonne of choice and its a bit more pricy. They are good for last min basics though, like lining fabric and haberdashery. Most of the shops in Soho are extortionate but have good choice. |

The prices are also a lot lower than Berwick street, although they stock less in the way of specialist fabrics, and very few of them have anything in the way of haberdashery items. |
