I may be being very thick and missing a button - but is there a way to hide your real name and DOB from public viewing? At the moment I've just put rubbish on as I don't like them displayed

There is no option to hide info, but if you don't fill something in it won't display. You can pick and choose what you'd like to show that way (if you click your own profile you can see that date of birth and age aren't showing for you).

By all means use a handle or just your first name intead of your full name, this is how you'd like to be referred to on the site.

How can I remove my date of birth? At present I have placed a fake birth date which shows me as being 9 years old. It looks a bit daft!

put on a date of birth some time in the future, ie a year of 2050. this will remove both the date and the age.

I tried that and it wouldn't let me. Said this site was for 16 and over...

Heya, setting the age was an old fix, but a while back we put in a privacy option for this. If you go to edit your profile, click 'privacy' - there's an option to hide your date of birth from your profile.

We need you to submit a valid DOB as the site is for aged 13 and up
