Some of you may have heard of a first time convention in september called Alcon. This had a new feature to cons where it had a ninja vs pirates theme and party. I went for the weekend and was really impressed, had a great time and saw some amazing outfits. They had booked a whole pub out and it was full of people in cosplay, like a scene from a Clamp cross over picture, with all different characters having a drink with people from all kinds of series lol.

Well Alcon 2008 has just been announced and registrations is open. When you register you get to choose a clan, this time around its Ninja, Pirates and Vampires!

Now this sounds like a lot fun cosplay potential here, i'm gonna make a kick ass pirate outfit!

i too shall be piratey to the max, but hoping to put in samuria theme to it as well cos im in the mood for it
