boots help
Morning everybody

A lot of you know me as wonder woman who collects for charity. I have just been donated a pair of knee length boots in red that works with the wonder woman costume. They have a 3 inch block heel and they fit. my wife wants me to practisee in them before the next event. The boots has a black string laces to do up, should we change them for white string lace or as suggested white lace to give them a better look, and where best to get string for this, suggestions please

Defintely white laces.

If your local shoe shop or cobbler can't help with long enough laces, try a haberdasher or craft shop. They should be able to sell you drawstring-cord by the metre. (test how myc you need with string or something first)

If you need the end bits for the laces too, they're called aglets.

I don't know if this is too late to be helpful, but you can get custom length laces from a corsetry supplier, such as Vena Cava Design They sell pre cut and finished lengths or continuous lengths and aglets.
