Two weeks...
'til London Expo.

On a scale of 1 to a puddle on the floor, how stressed are you right now?

Now that I have made peace with not having one costume done in time, I'm pretty chilled.

I'm more stressed about Bank Holiday public transport on the Monday XD

Cannot be as bad as last year when the DLR didn't run ALL weekend!

Hopefully all entrances will be open and the weather will be great. The only thing stressing me is how I'm gunna see in my costume

I'd say I'm slightly past the threshold where the stress is noticeable. Thankfully, all I have left to do is the gluing of velcro and a Worbla emblem and some painting and Teepo's armour's done.

So it's something I can do in the space of eleven days... I just have to avoid procrastinating too much.

I feel like I still have a lot to do, but in reality all I have left to do order my wig from CosCraft and make s tail and ears ^-^ So, still stressing, but not as much as I could be.

Still a bit nervous, my machete is all paid for, just waiting for the artist to add the leather straps and he should ship it wednesday, possibly Tuesday. I will see you all there, fingers crossed the weather is good, or its the bagmask for me

11 May 2014 - 19:53113353
Feel bad for people who still have tons of things to actually make considering I'm only stressed out over straightening a wig which is driving me nuts

I’m not that stressed and my cosplay is already complete as I was just improving the one that I wore in October. I guess the only thing causing any stress is the fact that I have entered the masquerade but I have done so once before so I know roughly what to expect. Good luck to those of you that are still working on your costumes.

I am nearly done myself and generally unstressed.

The worst part is that I'm doing a group cosplay, but we all live so far away from each other that we won't get to see each others costumes until the day. I know that they will each be fantastic, but still makes me nervous!

It's stressing me out!

I just can't find the material for my skirt anywhere. Having to resort to dying a purple skirt slightly darker :<

We all say that... Until the next time...

13 May 2014 - 17:00113399
So true!

13 May 2014 - 18:32113402
Pretty chill!

I've finished all of my costumes, just waiting on a commissioner to reply to me about my coat.

I've been too busy stressing over other bigger things, so remaking a costume seems like...nothing? A chance to focus on something else? I'm looking forward to it though - it couldn't have come at a better time!

Panic mode engaged!

Not quite but maybe on Monday. I should be OK. I think...

A bit of a stumbling block with the velcro for my Teepo armour has my stress increasing slightly. But, to counterbalance it, the armour is literally the only thing left to do. Once I manage to get it to stick together and have it sit right, it'll be gessoing any exposed edges, then painting the whole thing and sticking the emblem on.

At least, that's the theory...

I enjoyed the amount of "and"s that followed "only" there.

I can't make much further progress on my current project until my yellow dye arrives in the post. I'm really unsure now if I'll be able to get it done in time, plus I have a lot on my mind with various job interviews and such which obviously have to take priority. I guess I have to remind myself that there's at least a day event in each of the next 3 months that I hope to go to that I could wear it at.

Yup! Loads of opportunities! And you have a massive back catalogue of costumes to fall back on if you don't get it done too!

15 May 2014 - 21:31113453
Yeah, I always enjoy getting to re-wear previous cosplays ^^

I have confused emotions about it...

On the one hand, I spent a crap load of money on the costume so should get the use out of it...

On the other hand, there are SO many other cosplays I want to do...

This dilemma stresses me out more than actual making of costumes.
