Xianghua Wig
...Okay so... rwar. I'm having issues finding a suitable wig for Xianghua from Soul Calibur 3.

I don't know whether to get a short scruffy-ish wig and some seperate extension for the long segments.
Or to get a medium wig to trim to the correct length and leave sections long.

The pro of the first option is that its the easier option, the con is that it could be difficult to find extensions in a matching colour.

The pro of the latter is that it would mean everything is the same colour, and should be cheaper all together.
The con: never styled a wig properly, let alone cut one.

Anyone have a wig they could suggest or would like to give their input? I'm at a bit of a loss. T-T

I would recommend getting the longer length wig and then cutting it shorter in the parts you need (at least that's how I would do it!). To ensure everything matches and all. If you have the money to splash out you could order wigs from the same maker in the same colour but one long and one short so you can splice the two together by cutting out the wefts including a part of the wig cap and sewing them in to the shorter one... though to be fair buying two nice wigs could be pricey.

finding matching extensions is a pain- I've been looking for some coppery red ones and instead I'm having to have my poor customer shell out another £20 for them. Sometimes the matching wefts can be as pricey as the wig itself!

Because it's a choppy style, I'm sure that even if you are a little messy with it it will still look alright. I think getting the longer wig and cutting into it will look more natural- just beware that longer wigs sometimes lack fullness around the scalp areas and cutting them shorter might reveal wig cap ><
