Just wondering if anyone is likely to be doing some FFIX cosplay for London Expo May 08? I'm hoping to get a Freya Crescent cosplay together for then, and was hoping to get some photos with other FFIX cosplayers.

The FFIX meet-up will be both days.

I've wanted to do Sir Fratley for a very long time now; i've just never had enough skill/confidence to start it

Awww T-T I've never made my own cosplay myself, I've always got my mum to make them for me xD But I'm diving in at the deep end and starting on Freya now while I have seven months to make it ^^;

If you end up making a Fratley cosplay, I'd love to see photos =) I'll wear my Freya cosplay with you if you end up wearing it to a future expo, as well. ^_^

Not for ay but for Amecon and October expo Im doing Amano Freya, Id love some photos and poses with you if your doing Freya as well at those cons!

I'm doing Princess Garnet not for May but maybe Oct of something ^^;; I've always wanted to do her dress! But I have no idea how to make it at all D= [plus I have no clue on how to use a pattern so that's out of the question XD]... but hopefully if i get the fabric then I'll try improvising and get it done by Oct =3

I have a Beatrix costume - I've worn it a few times already but I'm always improving it and I *love* wearing it, so if there's FFIX people about I'm happy to wear it again.

I'm not too sure about attending October Expo next year. It's too close to Midlands so I may have to skip it =( I'll have a go at getting there though, always worth a try!

@Sands: I'm not too sure about Amecon either - I'd like to attend but it depends on my bank balance at the time xD If I end up going to Oct, I'd love to take Freya photos with you!!

@CN: Good luck in making your Garnet cosplay!! ^^ As I said, if I can get to October I'd love some photos with you =)

@Odangochan: Oh wow, a Beatrix! ^_^ If you can wear Beatrix to May, that would be so awesome! I'd love to take some photos with you there ^_^

If I crack on in the summer holidays I could try doing Garnet for Midlands too ^^... I was planning on doing Tifa but she would be simple to do so long as I don't become lazy with every other costume I make xD. But I dunno depends on how much money I'll have or if I have time to make a load of costumes @_@

If it looks like there's going to be a goup at Ame I'll take Zidane. I might be at the London expo, but it's unlikely.

Hmmmmmmm I might be able to get a Quina done for Midlands Expo (I'm not sure about London May Expo as I'm doing Animal Crossing with someone and I don't know if I'll be able to carry two bulky costumes)

A group will really push me to get her/him/it/whatever finished though. Motivation fooooooooooo~

I will definitely be attending the Midlands Expos, so if you guys can get Quina and Garnet done, that would be epic! 8D I would definitely be wearing my Freya cosplay again, so I'd love to see you guys there! =D

Aaaactually... if this is for the Sunday then I could possibly try and do Garnet for the Sunday... because my friend who is doing Max from Beyblade can't come on the Sunday and I'm booked for the Saturday so I might do Garnet =D... If it's too hard then I'll do my secret cosplay [I want it to shock people... since it's unique and funny xD]

The only problem is with Garnet I have no skills whatsoever... all my costumes are done by trial and error and I've only used cheap material... so getting satin to make Garnet and using trial and error might be expensive xD; so it's my skills that I'm worried about =[... but I'll give it a good go! =D [I have Xmas/bday money ;D]

I really want to do Ruby, it is something I have wanted to do for a while!

I've always wanted to cosplay a character from FFIX, it needs more love :3
I might be in London for the Expo next year but it's doubtful that I'll be able to cosplay FFIX D: Though if I have enough room at Ame 08 then Zidane or Beatrix (if I'm feeling daring) might be on the cards.
Still, if I get there I hope to see people to get photo's :3

I always wanted to cosplay as Garnet in her princess dress because I have fallen in love with the dress when I frist saw it. Also since my hair is long, dark and straight it will be easier since I can use my real hair, but now my mum has forced me to cut my hair short & I don't think it will grow long enough in 7 months time *cries*

I am not sure if I would cosplay as Garnet for May's Expo because I have already got plans, but if I have the time, then I will attempt to make her princess dress and wear it for only Sunday. If not, then it will debut at either AmeCon or Midlands Expo.

I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who's joining in the FFIX group :3 I'm so happy that you've all got involved, I can't wait to see all the group!! I'm looking forward to May Expo so much =DDD

well for my expo 08 my fratley will definiltey be ready ime just humming and harring whether to put a rush on it and do it for minamicon

It's so cool to see that there are going to be quite a lot of FFIX cosplayers at May's Expo which makes me want to cosplay as princess Garnet even more because I never been involved in a cosplay group. I just need to finish my current cosplay which I am working on before I start making the dress.

Okay I think I'll definately do Princess Garnet now! =D I can't believe the number of FFIX cosplayers! I'll finish off my Sakura costume first as I sense Garnet will take a looong time! XD And will this be for Saturday or Sunday? Because I have a feeling I can only do Garnet for the Sunday D= [Unless I force my faithful companion to do Fai for Sunday instead XD]

@Tak: I wanted to organise the FFIX group for May, but someone else beat me to it on the expo boards xD I can post details of the FFIX meetup here as it gets sorted out though. =)
