Attack on Titan Boots Advice?
Hey there!

I am going to cosplay as Mikasa Ackerman from AOT at Belfast Comic Con in June. I am just trying to get patterns ready so I can start making my outfit/props, but one thing I dunno what to do about is the boots.

I don't want to pay £40+ for a pair of replica boots that I can't really wear on a regular basis. I found these* on Ebay, but the picture isn't very good, and I can't tell if they are similar enough to the real thing.

If you guys could look at the link and give your opinion on the boots, oooooor if you have any cheap alternatives that you think are good, please let me know!

Thanks! :3

Hey, I'm also cosplaying Shingeki No Kyojin. I'll be Levi Heichou!

I just suggest you wear ordinary long, black boots, that's what I'm doing. No one really pays attention to the cut on the boots, so it's easier to find regular black boots

Fortunately at this time of year over the knee brown boots are easy to find in most shoe stores. The pair you linked to look like they will do the job. I think these were the ones I ordered http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WOMENS-RIDING-OVER-KNEE-THIGH-HIGH-BOOTS-ELASTICATED-WIDE-CALF-FLAT-LADIES-3-8-/181069127437?pt=UK_Women_s_Shoes&var=&hash=item6fcef63344 , which look fine in person. Charity shops will sometimes have what you need too.

I used these!
I cosplayed as Christa last October. And getting boots was a huge risk but I ordered mine at amazon they cost about £20 and they looked exactly like it! and they are so comfy I even wear mine on a daily basis!
Actually I just looked and they have gone up in price a bit but they are well worth it! and then if you cut off the strings at the back! I found them perfect
