Faux leather fabric recommendations
Hello I am currently making this costume http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/236x/59/79/9f/59799f499830ed28e66a777cc7b4cf42.jpg which requires a bodice, pair of boots, belt, sheaves and gauntlets made out of faux leather (because the real stuff is very expensive and mean to animals).
I have worked with leatherette before but never been to happy with it. Apparently through you can get nice leatherette so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a seller to buy some from. Thank you!!

I'm afraid with fake leather, the better quality you want, the more money you're going to have to pay. Its best to look up upholstory fabrics as well, since lots of those generally use leather, or a synthetic version of the stuff. Here's a couple of shops that have various versions of faux leather. Though too be honest, its always best to ask for samples first so you can see for yourself what the quality is like.

(Also, you should probably look up how leather is made nowadays so you understand that its not really mean to animals anymore - depending on where you shop of course )

Thanks a lot! Wow that stuff is ex specie XP I might have to wait and save up a bit until I buy it then. I'll defiantly get samples first though, I hate working with the foamy stuff.
I know it's better but instill think its a little odd wearing something else's skin xp

Just in case you want more options, I can highly recommend the leatherette sold by http://www.efabrics.co.uk/ - I've bought plenty of it from their real-life shop before and it's great.
