A quick PSA: Otaku House. Don't enter their cotnests
I think a few of us here have seen the Otaku House cosplay contests in the last couple of years. Well it seems now they have taken to to making the following comments:

It seems they want to uphold 'standards'. Really guys. That's it. Losers and pervs the lot of them.

Well OH, we cosplayers have standards too. We won't stand for BS like this.

I unliked them after the Chun-Li post but reading this makes me sick!
Raising the standards...... Tch sorry we arn't all perfect sex models tch =-=
I agree with some of the replies, all the finalists are rigged anyway or the winners

Tch glad they are losing likers after this =-=

Yes I shared there comment on my Facebook for others to see, apparently at the moment they are being 'hacked' and the chun li comment and picture was apparently also a 'hack' but this is only other people saying there being hacked, not an actual admin of the page. However until it is proven that this is all a hack I believe it is the actual page saying these things. It's so shocking and it's sick, Cosplay is for fun and Cosplay is for everyone. It's not a beauty contest! Beauty is both inside and out.

Honestly when I read there post I had no words, I was just so shocked, is just unacceptable!

I'm not sure, but isn't Otakuhouse what CosplayHouse used to be?

I was getting sick of their spam on my wall anyway, this has only given me the motivation to be bothered to click unlike.

Nope, checked and CosplayHouse and OtakuHouse are different cosplay sites. Complete ditzy moment ¬__¬

Anyway, that post is disgusting and flaming (when they said that they "do not" flame...yea, right!)

I stopped paying attention to them a while ago as OH was starting to become far too much like a beauty contest for my liking. I feel now would be a good time to actually unlike the page since this is just appalling I love seeing work done from all kinds of people and levels and wish for it to feel like a community and not a mass of elitists!

Cosplay is cosPLAY! It is a hobby anyone should jump into and enjoy without discrimination.

Hack or not, still frustrated with this -_-

Looks like the original status has been deleted.

Also it seems that they are saying that last post was a hack too.

It says a lot about elements of the community that it seemed completely plausible

Its a good start that they've spoken out against the actions of the alleged hacker, but I'll wait to see some inclusivity on their FB posts before I'll take their word for it.

It is awful that you can't tell if it's a hack or not. I seriously hope so, but it really does show the way the cosplay community is going.
