I was hoping someone could lend me some advice about lightening eyebrows. I have really dark hair and in two weeks I'm going to be wearing a blonde wig. I need some tips on how I can lighten them for the day but when I go back to school on Monday I won't get questions like 'What happened to your eyebrows?'
Any advice you could give me would be much appreciated

I have thick black eyebrows and I cosplay lots of blonde characters so I know this issue well!

For blonde characters I just use concealer sticks over my eyebrows. Get one in a shade or so darker than the blonde wig because eyebrows are naturally darker, then lightly brush over the top. I've been doing it for years and haven't had any problems. Just use a makeup wipe to remove it. :3

Brightly coloured eyebrows are a different matter entirely however...xD

Some of the methods I've come across are using your foundation/concealer to lighten your eyebrows, then recolour them as needed?
Or using clear mascara on them, and while wet dusting a colour you wanted.

The only method I could suggest is seeing if a mascara exists in a blonde colour and using that to cover your eyebrows. I believe I've watched someone somewhere use that to lighten their eyebrows.

Those are the three main ways I think I've heard of so hope one is useful

Thank You!!!!
Thank you both so much! I will give these methods a shot, I'm sure I'll find one that works. You've been lifesavers I was so close to pulling all my hair out in frustration!

I have the same issue, but I just did what one of the above mentioned and dabbed on some concealer and used a separate mascara spooley which you can get in packs to smooth it through. You can get 'eyebrow mascara' in lighter shades but ive not had the chance to try those.

I have medium-fair eyebrows so I've not had to lighten them, but I colour them bright colours for cosplay quite often!

Like others, I use concealer to cover up my eyebrows and blend it in with my make-up. I then use a light shade of eye pencil in the colour I want, and draw an outline around my brows, filling it with little pencil strokes. I then add to this with little strokes of a darker eye pencil. To finish off, I dust a little bit of eyeshadow over each brow to make the colour more intense.

This is all really easy to take off with make-up remover, bit I do have to double check to make sure none has been left behind!

I hope this is of some help.
