Well... If I must say... the expo itself was VERY disappointing in terms of the actual stuff that they had there. I know that the show was downsizing this year but wow... just wow...

From engine shed exhibition hall to 2 hotel rooms hosting an event not dissimilar to the size of a recon event... Oh dear...

The Expo is mainly dominated by comics (which is understandable) but the Manga selection which Tokyopop was selling was VERY limited. Simply put... If you wanted Battle Royale, Fruits Basket or Anima, You'd come to the right place! Simply put... they were selling only stuff which wouldnt be out of place at a WH.Smith Store.

Im going back today in my Derek Stiles Cosplay for the following reasons...

-To see if anything at all has been added
-To meet up with the great people I met yesterday

That aside... This event was really quite a disappointment in terms of content and actual stuff to do. But I met some great people and am going back today to share it with them (I now know why going to Expo by yourself sucks... *lacks friends XD*)

Expo was really good fun! I wish I could have gone on Saturday as well.. oh well, I'll just book earlier next year.

It's sad to hear that it downsized so much this year. I know dealers like Neomartian couldn't get tables as the prefered space was comics.

I hope you all had a good time! I know a lot of the big Bristol anime groups didn't go because of ticket availability. I heard there was some Haruhi/Akatsuki cosplayers running around the centre ^_^
