Has anyone bought from this site? Yes, I know that there are several fake cosplayfu sites out there but there is a real company called cosplayfu and it has the costume I want, at a price I can afford and I want to know if their any good.

My current experience isn't good at all.
I ordered some boots to be custom made (different colours from their advertised style) with plenty of time and they said they could make the deadline. Fair enough, we pay up and say we're happy with the samples and they state around 13-15 working days and plenty of time to ship out.
We hear nothing so we ask them and say two days in a row 'we can ship them out today, they'll make it there in time' We told them we would be even happy to pay extra to ensure fast shipping 'no, no, they'll definitely get there on time. we'll upgrade it and you'll get your item'

A few days later we get an email following the ticket we asked bugging them about progress as we'd heard nothing for about a month. Telling us that they'd cocked up with the shipping and now rather than getting it to us for Ayacon, we could be waiting for up to 20-30 days to receive the item. They then tried to shush us with a $5 voucher for our next purchase - after this, there won't be one. They upped it to $10 when we told them that it was absolutely their fault and we weren't happy about what had occurred and failed to understand how they could have messed it up with so much time and warning towards the deadline - chances are that when they arrive I wont be able to use them until next year.

So I wont be buying from them again. The quality of the items I have bought from them in the past are so-so, but have had much better quality from other sellers such as Cosplay-Fly and Cosmonde

The quality is so-so, in my experience. I ordered my Anri cosplay from them, and I had to take the skirt in by four inches, and the jacket did not fit at all (noting, these are the same measurements I used for my Loz cosplay and that fit like a dream). Also, there were iron burn marks on the interior and that's not really that professional.

So, I'd rather spend a bit mroe money and use people like cosplay fly who have given me a great fit and also have really really good communication; they kept me up to date when I told them I had a short deadline, telling me exactly where they are and such.

I mean, cosplayfu aren't horrendous, or anything, but neither would I recommend them.

I was considering ordering from cosplayfu because I ran out of time to make a costume. I then suddenly changed my mind and ordered from cosplayfly...and from the comments here it seems that I made the right choice.

From what I've seen and heard of cosplayfu it's very much a vcase of what you see is what you get.

They don't appear to have the character I want. What about cosplay.my?

Try commissioning them. A lot of sellers now will take commissions as they have to make the costumes from scratch anyway - after they do yours, they'll take photos and have it sellable on their page.

Cosplay Tree/Hunny Lee is another seller I'd recommend - I know for a fact she'll do commissions as she did not have Loz available which is what I needed.

Typically, what they need to do it is good reference images, just like any seller. They may charge a bit more because it's a new costume so they have to use different patterns, but you'll need to ask

I've heard so many bad experiences of cosplayfu, about how their cosplays are terrible quality or that they never even arrive. I've heard they're also very difficult to contact for money back etc. Probably best to avoid them if possible!

I haven't bought in cosplayfu myself, but I know a few people that have and they had bad experiences. Outrageous prices with cheap quality... Plus difficulty to contact them and money problems. I think like the majority, that you'd better avoid buying there and preferably buy in another site if possible.
