URGENT: Underwear for lycra costumes
As I man wearing a costume made from lycra, what underwear should I have on underneath? I'm asking as I'm pretty sure my usual boxers are not going to be any good. I should mention it's white.

The only reason it's urgent is that I need to buy what I need before Ayacon.

Don't go white as that'll only shine through more, for sure, I don't know if you can get flesh colored man underwear?
You'd also want to try, if at all possible, and get seamless ones so there's no panty lines
Plus as a man you'd probably want a cup or something unless you want everyone to know your dimensions and how you're hanging :'D

Well fortunately it's that tight on the crouch. Wouldn't that to happen (remembers an unfortunate picture published in Neo years ago). It's for Jiraiya here:

I should be wearing tights, then?

Actually, did anyone see a panel last Aya called How to Look Good Almost Naked?

You need tight fitting, preferably seamless underwear when wearing spandex.

Sports briefs would probably be the best, cause it'll... keep everything tidy too.

Get a dance belt. Male ballet dancers use them to avoid awkward bulges. If you have a dance supplies store near you (or look online) check them out.

They are flesh coloured with a string back and a padded cup in front, and hold your junk up against you. They are surprisingly comfortable to wear once you are used to them.

EDIT: European made ones tend to run small at the waist, American made ones are more forgiving of larger waistlines.

That moment when someone mentions your panel! XD

Had this problem myself a few times. You can get things like spanx which will hold everything in ie tummy, thighs etc but if its a case of hiding a certain bulge then I'd suggest simply tucking and wearing a comfy and form fitting Hipster trunk as it'll sit on your thigh comfortably and hide all those unmentionables to an extent.
All I'd say is perhaps give yourself a little more seam allowance in the crotch or try to wear something underneath that's similar in tone/colour to what you'll have on. Sometimes the flesh toned garments can be a bit too dark and it looks pretty obvious. Also don't wear tights as unless they're a high denier or are wool (inadvisable in summer) they're pretty useless as they're low elasticity won't help you out and will more then likely ladder if you're attempting to hold anything in.

If you don't mind I'm doing the panel again on Saturday of Aya at 11, I may do a bit of research and mention it if that's ok?
