Advice on Aigis cosplay
I am working on an Aigis cosplay (from Persona 3) (reference photo) and I am not sure how to make the gold bits by her joints.
I was thinking of using fiberglass, as it is sturdy and won't break, but I haven't used it in the past very much. Can I use it to make details that small (the triangle cutouts), and what would be the method of doing that? I was also thinking of basically making a wire frame, and then putting fiberglass over that, or using paper mache, and just painting it.
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, they would be greatly appreciated!

You're going to have your real hips under that, right? Since you have to move around, what's wrong with gold PVC fabric?

I rekon you could make those gold bits by making a frame out of something like;

Worbla: http://www.coscraft.co.uk/plastics-and-foam/380-worbla-s-finest-art-a4-size.html

Kobracast: http://www.coscraft.co.uk/plastics-and-foam/497-kobracast-art-10cm-x-280cm-roll.html

And then wrapping the gold fabric around it, or even painting it if it's worbla. With the Kobracast, it looks like you'd need something to smooth it out. I'd go with Worbla to be honest.

you could even do it with craft foam really but I'd go for Worbla, it seems to be more sturdy.
