Dyeing a wool hat
I'm trying to dye an off-white hat red. The hat is made from wool and has been moulded into shape with heat.
My first attempt at dyeing it has made it a beautiful bright pink, despite following the instructions to the letter.

Would re-dyeing it with the same dye make it finally turn red, or is there a way to make it red without going through the whole process again?

Google has only told me how to get red dye OUT of fabric, but I want it in my fabric!

Perhaps try a darker dye, rather than the same one if the one you currently have turned it pink?

Aah thank you! I'll have a look for a darker shade next time I'm in the shop c: I just hope that a second dye-job won't ruin the fabric c:
