Any musical theatre fans out there especially those from Wales?
Hi,

I love musical theatre but realised I don't have many friends who live local or share the same passion for it. My faves are Phantom of the Opera and Wicked.

Any musical fans here from South Wales?

If so hit me up n feel free to follow me on twitter @Welsh_Harls88

Thanks,

Sasha x

Been into musicals for a few years now. My personal favorite and the one that got me in to them is Les Miserables. Got dragged along to the stage version by the better half and I really enjoyed it. Also, I'm from Hereford, which is practically Wales.

That's awesome stuff! I've yet to see Les Mis on stage as honestly was too frightened of how upsetting it would be. After bawling my way through the film twice though I MUST see it in the West End and it's on my list for this summer.

I'm not from Wales but I do love musicals. I'm also an amateur singer, so I've worked on a few different musical songs. My favorites are probably Les Mis, Wicked and Phantom. The Lion King is fantastic on stage too.

HURRAY and no worries at all. Ahhh you have epic taste in musical theatre. AWESOME! Wish I could sing! You know I LOVE the Lion King film, it was a huge part of my childhood and something very dear to my heart but I just can't bring myself to see the show, I can't get over the idea of Simba being a human, it just makes me feel weird haha! Me! Cept I live in Scotland.
I haven't seen that many on stage though. Despite how many times I find myself in London.

Want to see Wicked so bad!

Beauty and the Beast was utterly fantastic though. Home is such a beautiful track!

I'm doing my degree in Vocals at the moment and for my 3rd year BA vocal showcase I'm doing songs from musicals!~

Most from musical movies, haha.

My set-list if you're interested:

Pure Imagination (Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory)
Let Me Be Your Star (NBC's Smash)
I'm Gonna FIle My Claim (River of no Return)
Boy Next Door (Meet Me In St Louis)
Take Me To the World (Evening Primrose)
Maybe This Time (Cabaret)
There Are Worse Things I Could Do (Grease)
The Man That Got Away (A Star Is Born)
Once Upon A December (Anastasia)
Don't Rain on my Parade (Funny Girl)
I See The Light (Tangled)

WOOHOO! Ahhhhh I've always wanted to visit Scotland, it looks so beautiful!

No worries at all and oh my Gosh YES you NEED to, it's absolutely spellbinding!

I never got round to seeing it but heard it was gorgeous.

Awww how epic, are you enjoying it?

Some lovely songs you've picked there, LOVE Once Upon A December & At Last I See The Light in particular, all over anything Disney!

I'm Sasha by the way, nice to meet you! If you have twitter please feel free to follow me @Welsh_Harls88 xxxx
