Just had a nose on your profile... those are some really great costumes you've done. Awesome Spartan and Borg and the head for... err... Pyramid Head, is looking really good. You really should go to some expos when you're mainland because I really think you should be showing those costumes off. I used the word "should" alot there, I hope that I don't sound like I'm lecturing i'm just trying to say you've made some sweet costumes there.

Picnic sounds like a popular idea.

Thanks for the feedback! I do love building and heading out in them! I will be going to a expo at some point. I will probably take my Pyramid Head as it will be easier to transport!

WOW you have been busy! how many costumes! I have two on the go right now. If I had a workshop I would build so much more!!

HAY THAR to you too!

You're not the only one who thinks they could use more mingling! The only thing which won't be the first time for me on this upcoming May weekend will be the trip down to London. Everything else - attending an Expo, cosplaying - is all shiny and new.

I've been tempted by photoshoots and meet-ups and the like but, when I looked at CI's list (granted, a tiny representative sample, but still) of people cosplaying at MCM London May this year and realised that I was the "only" one planning to cosplay someone from Castlevania? Yeah, that was a bit of a shock.

Then again, the number of cosplayers last October was apparently into five figures, so... who knows?

Anyway, I'm rambling. I do that. Your idea of a picnic for mingling purposes sounds like fun. I might swing by if you decide to organise it. Hopefully, the weather won't get all British on us when the day comes!

Whoa! Really?

*counts on fingers*

OK, about 70,000 people attended, five figures would be 10Kish, that's about 14%...

Wow. Yeah, that sounds about right. Wow!

Picnic? PICNIC!

I'm in the same boat, so socialising with new people while stuffing my face sounds like a paramount idea.

I shall attempt to plan for aya as there is most probably one at expo already
Does anyone know the lay out as I do not? Or should we find the spot when we're there with a giant banner that says PICNIC in gloriously fabulous giant glittery writing?
