Hello! Annoying newbie here!

I'm kind of new to the whole cosplaying thing (working on my first costume for MCM) and I just wanted to say hi. :3

Seeing as this is my first con, any advice would be appreciated, (should I bring an emergency repair kit for my costume or something? My friend said I should...) eheh.

Are any of you guys going to London MCM this year in May on the Saturday? If so, introduce yourself and say hi. I'd love to meet some new people there. ^__^

A repair/ emergency kit is a good idea in case something gets damaged in transit. Superglue, scissors, needles, pins and some thread are useful. You would want to lose months of work to something easily fix able

There's usually also a cosplay station to help out if you need to patch thing up during the event.

Welcome to Cosplay Island!

There are quite a few newbies here so fear not, you're not the only one.

Every year there's an emergency cosplay repair stand in the cosplay area at MCM, but if your costume requires anything specific then it would definitely be a good idea to bring your own bits along! As for advice on the event itself, I'd suggest bringing a friend or two with you, it's never as fun on your own.

I'll be there as the ever obscure Alundra on Saturday, but will stop and say hi if I notice any Tali'Zorahs running around!

Thanks guys .. thank goodness there will be a repair station there, but I'll probably bring some glue and stuff anyway just in case my leg armour falls apart on me. xD

I'm being a mega loser and going with my step dad , but I'm meeting a few of my friends at the con so hopefully I can abandon him at some point.

Okay, awesome. I'll keep an eye out for you. ^__^

Hello and welcome It's always great to see another Bioware fan.

I'll be at May Expo as Isabela from DA2. I'm not going to have time to get my ME costume done unfortunately

There is an ME meet on Saturday if you would like to come along though. Mark Meer will be joining the photo shoot

This is the facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/events/483076265048378/

There is also a general Bioware meet on Sunday if you want to come along and say hello. You would be more than welcome

I like big Boats, I cannot lie - Isabela

Great to see you love Bioware as well. I'm seriously addicted. xD
Ahh, awesome. Isabella is amazing. Can't wait to see you there. ^__^

My friend sent me the link to the ME meet the other day, so I've already joined, but thanks anyway. It looks so amazing .. I'm psyched. xD

I wish I could go on the Sunday as well, but I'm just taking the train up for the Saturday.

I'll still keep an eye out for you on the Saturday and say hello. =^.^=

Welcome to the world of tomorrow! Hope you have fun in your new hobby! Loads of people here should be at May MCM, me included (look for the giant walking/fighting bit of wood that is Mokujin).

I'd highly recommend an emergency repair kit. Even if it's just glue and a needle as it's always better to do your repairs in the comfort of the hotel before the con than at the cosplay repair table but saying that they are amazingly well supplied though, so there is plenty of glue guns etc if you are in a bind.

I'll stop and say hi if I see you.^__^

Knowing my horrific sewing, something is bound to go wrong so I'll definitely be bringing one. xD

Thank you for all your advice everyone! ^^
