Recently seen the news that a couple of my best friends have just got engaged during their vacation in Japan.

Also, after 5 long months, the remodelling of my room is almost complete, got most of the big stuff out of the way. (Furniture, Carpet, ect)
Just have a handful of things to buy and sell, but its already looking much nicer then it used to. Cant wait to see this finished at last!

Feeling good today, worked out (even had my other half joining me!) followed by a long bath and a face mask - Bliss!

I've got a boyfriend.

We've known each for one and a half years, chatting through a funny image site and on fb. Neither of us really considered a relationship; although we fit each other's likes and what we look for emotionally/psychologically/whatever you want to call it, he lives in the states (and, obviously, I live in the uk). However, after some events recently, we ended up realising that we care for each other beyond that of friends.

We're working out ways around the fact we live in two seperate countries, but no regrets as of yet.

After not having been on this site in over 6 months god knows why I really should come back on here xD

The latest good news is.

After 4 months of my trial period I have sucessfully obtained a job and now working into so much that needs to be done. Engineering retail shop is actually quite a lot of fun and most of my colleagues are really fun to talk to. My bosses are okay but a bit grumpy but they are good people as well so I'm happy with that.

Secondly after moved to the new place of mine I'm just about settled down, even though I did want to move to Cardiff, getting this job seems to be more pushing that dream move out of the picture for a little bit, since I want Kitacon next year to come faster and I want money for it haha.

My 21st is coming up and my mother is about to pay my travel to have a vacation in July to stay with one of my best friends I could actually ask for. So just really excited and that in May I'm looking forward to so I can cosplay with someone for the first time haha.

I guess even after a horrible last year the beginning of this year seems to be a lot better.

That and I'm also a bit hyper just waiting for my Cloud cosplay to come in, hopefully within the next two weeks.

I guess I'll upload progress stuff shortly haha.

Decided to do a bit of baking, which I have never done by myself before. Managed to cook up some cupcakes with no trouble at all.

Only problem has been the attempt to use some food-dye didn't work out, as I wanted to make them 2-tone cakes that would look like Poké-balls.
What was supposed to be a red dye ended up a more purple colour when blended in with the cake mix, and after baking them, while the inside still has a purple tint, the outside is more brown instead...

Next time, I'll have to just bake them up normally and try making some frosting cream instead for the red and white of the Poké-ball.

I'm currently struggling against a fit of the giggles! We have a student at work who seems to have based his image completely on Jay (Silent Bob's hetero life partner). I can't work out if its deliberate or a hilarious coincidence

Following my recent loss I have visited a re-homing center yesterday and fell completely in love with a lovely German shepherd. We all agree that shes the right one and praying she'll get on with my other dog ^^

Hope she'll still be there on pay day. Ill update with you guys then!

These are some very nice happy stories! It really lifts the spirit to read such happy tales.

Mine isn't quite as powerful as some of these, but I've been offered a full time position at work after 2 years as a trainee. Big pay rise, full time hours and a more secure position. I'm very happy about it!

My sister had two friends who looked exactly like Jay and Silent Bob. It amused the heck out of us too

Unfortunately our first choice of dog that was supposed to be taken home was said to be far too aggressive towards cats so instead we have a rottie/German shep/collie cross! So cute!

I (finally) got the white detail finished on my Aeon boots and took a pair of pliers to the glasses to split them apart. Relatively minor stuff, as I still have the clock sword to do, but still! Progress! \o/
