Feeling really happy about finishing some patterns for a new cosplay and enjoying the snow!

Woohoo!!! Back online and finally got my UCAS application sent off!!! While offline I discovered a new love, Final Fantasy 1. The music is so pretty!

Next priority is to work on my portfolio! ^^

Gonna go see the gang I met at October MCM on Saturday. Reeeeeeally cannot wait! >.<

Yay! Its official, going to go up to see my friend this half term!

She moved half way up the country about 6 months ago now, and I was meant to go up and see her at the end of October begining of November time but dates clashed and we had to re-schedule, so this will be my first time visiting her at her new house.

I am really looking forward to it, we have alot to catch up on

It's not often I come on here to brag, but because today has been rubbish - scrap that, my whole month plus has been awful - I'm here to go that I made sparkle shorts and I'm damn proud of my sparkle shorts for my costume that has been giving me a headache.

So. Even though the rest will probably look crap, at least my bum will be sparkling and looking fab.

Had a great day after postponing Valentines day stuff. Got plenty of stuff for cosplay making and went to see Wreck It Ralph followed by pizza. Nom nom nom.

My EVA foam arrived! Now I can start on the upper armour for Meredith! Wheee~! I've been waiting for days~

My fabric just arrived for my second cosplay and I'm really looking forward to finishing it. ^^ I'm also really excited for Birmingham MCM even if it's about a month away.

I'm just generally really happy that I've had this week to relax and make progress with my cosplay owo! It's coming along pretty well!

I've paid for myself and my boyfriend to go away this weekend together for his birthday! I'm so excited and really looking forward to it, and taking a break from constantly sewing ^_^;

Really happy since I got a lot done on my Len cosplay and had a nice party with my friend on her birthday!

It is my birthday today. Looking back over the past year, I've done pretty well.

Better paying job, I have a house, and there's less drama in my life because I really stopped giving a shit about a hell of a lot of whiny people.

As for my good news? Well, I just sent off an application for an Apprenticeship on an Admin course and within 10 minutes of sending it off I got a phone call from them, saying that they would like me to join them and I have an interveiw next Friday! If you ask me, this looks like a good sign

Been a good week ^^

Had a nice drive to Matlock yesterday and brought my favourite incense as well as some hair chopsticks, a plush lucky cat and a cute little money pouch, got 2 of my Gemu cosplays out of the way (pink hair feels awesome!), working on my first major prop for myself which is very fun, slowly preparing for my Digital Media portfolio for the interview for next week and thanks to some mail in the post yesterday I am currently sorting out my portfolio for a interview to study a BA in Photography!!!

Just praying I get replies from the other courses, especially Graphic Design at Trent! ^^

I'm happy I have finished my Meilin cosplay, Now to just finish everything else!!! Oh well im also happy my Bunnymund Commission is nearing its end too! And my Driger Quadsuit Commission is also coming along very nicely ^^ Not looking forawrd to cleaning the fur up though!

I've just recently returned home from Minamicon. Seriously I had such a good time and everything was fantastic
I learned so much and met old friends and made some new ones. I can't wait for the next one!

Yay. I got my results for January exams in biology, and I can happily say that I have passed.
Also I got another university offer making that 2 offers that I have been given but they're both for the same university but I don't care.

Interview is done (Wasn't even nervous!)

Just gotta wait on an availible placement and then Interview Part Deux will commence!

I've finished one of my costumes for May already.
I've just put a deposit on a new car (new to me, not actually new)
And the costume comment thread in General Cosplay is really boosting my self esteem right now. I highly recommend getting involved

I know, right?? I love coming back to see a new comment on costumes I felt didn't get enough love or got pushed back in the flurry of new photos that come right after an event. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy that people really like them.
