ALSO: I have Resi 6 as well now. Honestly, screw what the critics are saying the game is awesome! I agree! I can see why it can annoy people but I loves it all the same! xD |

I got a commission for one of my real animal skull brooches, so that will be a nice distraction from sewing cosplay for a day, lol! |

I'm visiting my grandparents on a happier note, since the last time we saw them was for my great-grans funeral back in March. I always look forward to seeing them, the roast (or spaghetti bolognase!), the chats, its just wonderful to be there with them! <3 Last edited by Alynia (04 Oct 2012 - 23:44) |

This is really immature but made me cry of laughter. Thought I'd share. Difficult to read that with a straight face without the guys in Accounts wondering what I'm doing. __________________ http://starchildcoffee.blogspot.com |

Instead of making an impossibly large collection which they've increased the quota of garments, wrestling over sewing machines and backstabbing each other to keep appointments, the course at this new institution has a pathway for modules. One of them is to do with management and making your own company, the other one...? Bridalwear AND costuming! Two of my favourite things in one - SO HAPPY! |

@ Isabela: Well, I would say I'm not jealous, but that would be a total lie. XD Awesome stuff though, bet that'll come in handy for MCM! @ Angel: Congrats! At least you're going somewhere you're happy with. At least all that hard work has paid off. |

| Angel Tear Joined: 10 Jan 2011 Posts: 579 | I've basically come from Sheffield to a course which is in association with Staffs Uni. The first two years is a Foundation Degree which takes place at the college but is listed under the uni. (I wanted to do that for a second year since I just wasn't happy and not doing so well in the Fash course at Hallam. The atmosphere is too tense, people are superficial and a lot of the time I couldn't even get my assignments done to the standard I felt was good because people would cross your name off for the time slots you've allotted to yourself. The staff were pretty unfriendly too and had their favourites - doesnt help with there being over 100 of you!)
So anyway, you get two years and you get a foundation level, and then you can go on to do a third year which will grant you a BA. From what I gather its mainly about management and opening your own business. I may choose to take this up, but I may not. It'd be pretty cool to do that though! Anyhow I begin on Monday which is a trip to do with another module which is a competition for designing clothing for over 50's. If you win you get around £260 pounds as a cash prize so I'm going to try super duper hard to win that to put towards my wedding! |

Yeah, bit of happy news recently; I've become the official 'Creative Director' of my uni's newly made BioSoc. Didn't even have any competition for the post either (unlike the other roles) - I was kinda volunteered for it Also, I've finally got around to remaking one of my old costumes I'd made in a rush (this time last year) and it's nearly complete with over a week left before expo! Really, I'm just happy with life in general (for a change) |
