Things have been going pretty well in terms of work and such, I'm officially teaching 5 days a week now! It is a little tiring, but it's so much fun!

Also my new job seems quite good as well, I've done about 3 or 4 shifts and the work is alright, it's a lot more organised than my old job, but even better than that everyone is really friendly there! Maybe if I really play my cards right I might *Gasp, shock horror and dramatic pause* make some friends. XD

Congrats on your new job I'm sure you will make some friends. Are they a sociable lot?

Yeah, they seem to be. I am most of the time but it depends what we're doing. I kinda fail in huge crowds if I don't already know at least one person pretty well already, and I fail at nightclubs and stuff. The music is so loud I can't even talk to people, the drinks are all overpriced, I'm not a huge fan of dancing, it just kinda bores me pretty quickly to be honest! I'm fine with pubs and most other places, but I just like to engage people in conversation, it drives me crazy when I can't! XD

I do find it funny when people mention clubbing as a social activity. It's almost impossible to have a conversation with someone, and even if you do hear them, you hear them wrong and the conversation just gets confusing

I gave up on clubs after the third time though that was mainly down to wanting to keep some of my hearing. Doing a music tech course, I really get it drilled into me about how it will affect your skills in later life.

Haha this is true, I dont go clubbing much myself but thats mainly due to the fact I have only been 18 for like 2 months XD

I overreact out when it comes to loud things, I have tinnitus in my right ear already and I am afraid of going deaf so I am usually wary when it comes to clubs and such (Haha for some reason I still continue to use earphones somewhat loudly though XD)

And yeah I did Music Tech too, like half if not more of the whole course is Health and Safety XD

I think everyone fails at nightclubs! To me, they are just meat markets and I do my best to avoid them (unless I have my beer googles on, which make everything seem better than it is! lol).

Pubs, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, cafes, etc are much better for socialising. I went out with my work chums for a curry last week - that was a good evening out

Do you know any places to go near the Excel Centre? Being a total noob at this, I really don't know the area. Might have to do some research.

I have a crush on someone, and I am trying SO HARD to play it cool. Dammit!

Had a great time at Disneyland! Totally plan on going back there, or Florida ASAP! It was wonderful! I'm in the middle of putting a select few pictures on Tumblr, cos I took like 400!

The only bad thing is that my ferret died whilst I was out there. It was sad, but I don't blame my parents for not telling me til I got back. I didn't want to be all sad in france, away from home, and with nothing to do about it.

But since we got back the family have gotten a DOG! We went to Manchester Dogs Home to 'look' and came back with Niki the Staffi, she's one, totally soft and a complete wimp, she won't even go out in the rain! We think she was abused and abandoned before, she doesn't like being left alone, and the other day she peed in the house, and when Mum came down she ran away and hid until she figured out she wasn't in trouble!

But she's now got a lovely forever home. She's currently curled up in her basket (which I had to move into my room to stop her crying) and snoring, which she does loudly, and all the time! We love her already!

I always find it difficult getting the right balance between showing you are interested and not being too obvious that they guess.

You should drop some subtle hints and it seems they feel the same, then go for it!

Try to be a bit flirty, if they reciprocate then good, but if they call you up on it you can act like you didn't realise what you were doing.

It's looking good so far. The problem with me is, as soon as any one seems interested, I act like a lovesick teenager. I need to scale back on the crazy.......

*breathes* He wants to do a couples cosplay with me! I can't do one this expo as I already have mine planned, but hopefully we will in May ^_^

Yeah, it depends! I'm pretty sure I know of a few places, like there's a small sushi place nearby if I remember correctly, depends what you like!
