I never actually saw any ad's for this season... meh oh well, Gonna watch it at 11pm on Sky Living +1 because I just noticed its on (About half way through)

I have been training non stop for 6 weeks for two conventions in a row. First is Tokonatsu, then a few days later it's Amecon.

Deadlifts of 80kg, clean and press of 60kg, single arm chin up etc etc.

Two conventions in a row will either leave me shattered, or my training will have paid off.

@ Karakulz: Sweeet! I watched the first series and I kept meaning to get back into it! I really liked the series, especially Dean's epic sarky jokes. XD

@ Jae: I'm sure it'll pay off, if it leaves you shattered as well then that just means you've worked hard for it!

Also, why is it making certain words into hyperlinks or something? For a second I swear Jae was trying to sell us training programmes/equipment...

Anyway: Got 4 days off of work, which is very nice! I've also been doing extra teaching and training this week, which is paying off. I also asked Sifu about the extra teaching lesson he mentioned and he said it's not going to be for a little while, but it will happen. Which is always good! Once that happens I will be either teaching or training there Monday to Friday. It'll be AWESOME. XD

Found a job advert looking for christmas elves, I think I'm a shoe in for it, so does the guy in the job centre.

Its only tempory, but I hope I get it, it'll pay for christmas and it'll look good when I get round to applying for Disney!

Reuniting with some old friends today as one of them is going to get married today

So nervous and yet so excited to see them again.

I don't know whether this'll sound silly to others, but it's certainly making me happy right now, but I'm feeling generally enthusiastic about my graphic design work! I haven't felt like this all during my course, but now that I've finished, I had a sudden burst of inspiration. So I'm doing a few of my own personal projects and I feel like I'm doing it right for once! ^^

Well, today started off kinda crap. Getting an earful at work over nothing, getting out way later than I'm supposed to and not getting paid for it, just the usual shenanigans. BUT, over the last month my teacher at kung fu has been talking to me about helping with more lessons which would be with one of the senior instructors at his club, but as it's quite a drive up there, he said to talk to him about it as I would be getting a little money for it and he said to just make sure I get a rate that's worth my while. I had a figure in my head which I thought was reasonable, but I wasn't sure if he would like it or not. Turned out I didn't even need to negotiate because he offered me more than that, anyway!

So now I find myself in the position of having a serious think about my job. It's crap, I've probably bitched about it enough times on here that people know I really don't enjoy it there and I (and I think a lot of people there) am really just starting to get fed up of being treated like crap. In an ideal world I would just focus on teaching as I can support myself quite comfortably now. But on the other hand, it is earning me money, in all fairness it's not money I desperately need anymore but it is nice to have something to fall back on just incase my car like... Blows up or something. Sooo, I'm just trying not to immediately quit just because I can, sort of thing... Just starting to find it hard to keep going back there, especially as it really just feels like I'm going somewhere good with the teaching now...

Exhausted but happy.

We'd be renting whilst looking for somewhere to buy then out of the blue we got our notice to quit. With a small(ish) child and what seems like 10,000 comics not a happy prospect to find somewhere within the two months and yet...

Got the notice on a Friday, saw somewhere on the Saturday and on the Monday had the offer accepted. Six exhausting weeks later we're in, it's ours and we're all very happy...(did I mention we're tired?)

Its not anything too exciting but I convinced my mum to buy me a panda onesie instead of new pyjamas ^_^

I received my first pay slip, its not a great amount but im not being taxed for it and its actually nice being paid for a job!

I have a dinosaur onesie. But mostly im happy is because im cosplaying Chii for the J-con and its the biggest costume i have done yet

Me being a derp, I accidentally ordered a toy gun for a figurine as a prop. It turned up and it was absolutely tiny, then I saw the guys ebay profile said he didn't accept returns. But I talked to him and he said he'd make an exception as I had barely touched it!

The rest of my outfits are coming along quite nicely, as well! Other than said prop gun, my Leon outfit is complete now!
