Just got a rare copy of the manga Sailor Moon Stars volume 2 on ebay for £10.49 (seen them go for around £40) oh yeah!

Now that I've stopped being such a wuss and actually started on my first wig-styling attempt it's actually going incredibly well! I'm all pleased with myself!

And for added joy, I just found out that my PhD proposal has been accepted and I'm going back to university on 1 July

I have the whole house to myself this weekend. Which is a good thing when your building armour.

i've managed to buy a whole load of white liquid latex, white face paint, blue and white LEDS, blue/white/black wires all for just under £15

Now that is a bargin. Great find there.

I've found the perfect boots for my Refia cosplay at only 9.99 ^^ (Which is handy because they're suitable for day to day wear, too!)
Which means my very first handmade costume is complete!!!

Finished my first attempt* at wig-styling last night and it's come out really well - I'm really happy about it! Now I just have to hope it won't fall to bits when my friend tries to put it on... ^_^

* I'm actually calling this my first "proper" attempt because the only other time I've tried to style a wig, I had no ides what I was doing and it came out a complete mess, so the less said about that the better...

Got to eat my way thru a 3' tube of Jelly beans for a cosplay prop. So not only am I happy at getting a crucial piece for a cosplay prop but I get to have a sugar high at the same time. Abel's sythe is going to be fab and funded by Jelly beans. Lol!

Heh, that sounds somewhat preferable to my recent antics - had to eat through a whole tube of Pringles in aid of my Viola costume. Not that I don't like Pringles, but all that salt and fat...!
