| The Brighton Asahi Japan Festival is a city wide event celebrating Japanese culture which runs 18-26 June 2011. Within it on the 25-26 June 2011 is the Asahi Anime Festival at The Hub, in Brighton where there will be held manga workshops, open air karaoke, giant chalk manga art and both a Cosplay Competition and a Gothic Lolita Fashion Show. Also during the over arching Brigton Japan Festival is a screening of Akira on Friday 24th at Duke of Yorks Picture House. |
