| This was my first ever cosplay, worn at the London MCM Expo, May 2006 ^_^ I attended the Expo in October the year before but refrained from cosplaying as I had no idea how popular it would be! The moment I set foot inside however I knew immediately that I'd be joining in at the next event :-) FMA was really popular that October, having just come out in Japan and making its way onto the internet, however when I cosplayed Lust in May there were barely any other FMA cosplayers there, I swear I only saw two Ed's the entire day! :-( Ah well, for my first costume I was really pleased how this came out ^_^ The dress is all snug and comfortable and lined inside, although a re-wear would call for a bit of adjustment at the back to make it lower cut :-) And turning down the tops of the sleeves too. Other than that I have few qualms about my costume ^_^ The wig was cheap, but back then I didn't know about the huge supply on Ebay! Still, some people seemed to think it was my real hair hehe. The claws were of course my most faveourite part ^_^ Would have done both hands but practicality called for me to have one kept free. Eating lunch with just one clawed hand was a challenge enough as it was! But the claws were made out of black, plastic industrial wire ties of all things! Attached to under gloves with copious amounts of super-strong super glue, and the covered over by a second pair of gloves on top. I would have liked the claws to look more like part of the dress than having it look like I was wearing gloves, but I wasn't sure how to go about it back then and this made things a lot easier :-) Anyway, I had a great time with my first cosplay, and Lust paved the way for my other costumes to come ^_^ | |

You look amazing ^.^ Im crossplaying lust in October for fuyucon O_o so much prep, its great though i just get to look at other peoples lusts ^^ this is a pleasure :)
