| For May expo myself and a small group of friends decided to go under the title 'red coat's brigade!' There are loads and loads of guys wearing red coats so we decided to do a bit of a piss-take cosplay of a whole bunch of them! None of us went as characters from the same series but because of the uniform colour we looked pretty good together as a group. (the term 'coat' was also interpreted rather loosely by some, lol!) I went as Zed, Mew Den Chan went as John Hart from Torchwood, Niccypippy mk2 went as erza from Fairy Tail and friends Jake and Jo went as Zuko from Avatar and Vash from Trigun. My first crossplay! Hope it looks o.k. | |

finishing (Posted 28th May 2010) well finishing is going to be a bit of a rush! one day to go and i need to paint the sword, finish my amulet and belt buckle and do a test run on the arm make-up! my first ever attempt at making a weapon though and it's looking pretty good for cardboard and a bit of tissue paper! |

Coat Progress (Posted 5th April 2010) I cut the pattern for the coat yesterday with a little logistics help from my mum. Now i have to put it all together! God how i wish i could sew properly! |

to do or not to do (Posted 30th October 2009) hmmm...i'm not sure if i'm going to do this one for may expo or not! i'm not sure i can make that coat on my own, hopeless at sewing as i am! a couple of friends and me are thinking of going as a load of characters in red trench coats so zed seems like the sensible choice! however, i was thinking of doing alice from pandora hearts who also wears a red coat. |

It surprised me how few people had heard of it too. Don't think I got recognized once! I had fun making it though. :)
