| The character is actually called "honki ni natta Mr Karate" which translates rougly to "Mr Karate who has become serious" but is more than likely meant as "Seriously, I'm Mr karate". It's a bit of a jab at Shin (true) Akuma from Street Fighter. This was another really really fun costume to wear! With some help I had to make a tengu mask out of plaster to fit my face... It was hilarious! Even managed to cut the hair off of a warewolf mask to fit around mine! The gi was pretty simple to do... Originally I was going to paint "Seriously, I'm Mr karate" on the back in Japanese but that was insanely hard to do so I painted "Mr Karate" in Japanese instead... Kinda an injoke for Street Fighter fans (Akuma has the symbol Ten on his back in red). I didnt get many pics of the costume in full, I'll have to look around a bit. Oh and the mask broke at the end of the day >_> | |
