| ~I wore this costume to Tokyopop Recon~ Sorry, the pictures are terrible ^^;Technically its not complete soo, there may be updates on it ^^ Its is a beautiful dress- very complex too! ^^ Considering this was my first anime cosplay I was really really nervois about the outcome, but as soon as I saw the costume I knew I had to make it. I made a few adjustments and I will be adding more. The veil needs adjusting and the dress needs to be 'completed' as such. The easiest part to make was probably the ankle chain ( which isn't very clear in any of the photos- I need to get better photos!) The hardest was the dress of course.; Which part? Well that would have to be painting the gold onto the dress and the veil, (as shown in the pictures). I wasn't really sure that I would suit the wig at all, but it turned out ok, and I intend on adding a staff and one of Sakura's feathers too. When I wore it, everyone would keep staring at me- I found it very amusing, but at the end of the convention when I had to take it off to walk to the train station to go home- no one recognised me!! ^^ I have learnt to give a cosplay a lot of time to make, especially if it is complex, or it will enevitably end up incomplete! Its suprised me a lot when I won the cosplay contest! | |
