| I've put up one picture to prove I actually wore it, but it did not suit me at all - block white fringes and black eyebrows do not mix! So I would like to direct you to Angela's profile, where she finished the final details of costume and looked very pretty in it! http://www.cosplayisland.co.uk/costume/view/1243 So, fell in love with a certain game called Magna Carta and a certain artist called Hyung Tae Kim. Never got far enough in the buggy game to meet Felicia, but her design looked really pretty and a challenge for painting! Matched with Amy-Lou who wanted to do Juclecia, it was a good pairing (tall/short, black/white, etc) The main Kimono bits were made out of Duchess Satin, and the grey parts a really weird stretch satin that I found. I painted the sleeves with acrylic & gutta pen for the details, and used a template and silver spray paint to decorate the obi tail thing. (Man you can see I know my stuff about Japanese wear :P) The tights were painted on with acrylic again, I had a weird shaped pillow that I used to stuff them while painting so they kept their shape. Found the shoes on Ebay, and although they looked comfy to wear, they crippled me! One of those costumes I loved making - did not enjoy wearing XD | |
