| Made to bust into the world of actually making my costumes instead of ordering them and hoping they fit me exactly, (hopefully) to be worn with a good friend of mine who'll be my Squall. Was a lot of fun to make, but I could have chosen a better fabric for the main duster/sleeves - it frays all over the place and my bedroom's a fabric-y blue mess. Still :P Now it's finished I feel slightly accomplished 8D I sliced my fingers up pretty bad making the pinwheel but I don't think it looks too bad, so I can deal with it. I'm not too happy about the fabric I chose though - the duster's too tight aruond my bust when it should be a little looser, so if I ever make it again (unlikely) i'll choose a fabric with some give. Great fun making though. :D | |
