| First worn at Tokyopop Recon 2008 in Wigan, but then at Thought Bubble 2008. The dress I simply bought from a charity shop. Did have to visit a fair few across a couple of weeks, but I found this and it was perfect (if you ignore the fact that it was a slight too big) =] The gloves took a little big longer to do. They're made out of a pair of old black pants which were fairly simple to cut and sew together. I spent a while thinking about how to do the nails. The gloves needed an open palm, so I couldn't just stick 'em on. Being open, I also needed a way to keep the gloves on, and I wanted an easy way to remove them if I wanted. Eventually, I came up with using acetate. A little hoop of it to stick round my finger on which the nail and glove was stuck. Simples =] And I'm rather proud of creating my own gloves =DD | |

Them gloves were hell to do, trying to work out how to have open palms but I got it in the end =]
Unfortunately the broke at TB and have yet to be fixed =[

I finnaly got the boots for my lust :) how hard was it to make the gloves? its the last peice of my outfit :)
The gloves themselves weren't actually too hard to make, it's was figuring out how to make them that was hard. Didn't take overly long either, just a bit of drying time to sandwich acetate, nails (which was itself a barbeque stick sandwiched between black card) and fabric. Good luck! =]
