Holster (Posted 14th October 2014)

I made the holster from leather and mesh straps with a cobra clip on the belt and normal buckles on the leg straps. The serpa style gun holder was made from worbla which I molded over the guns before I sprayed them. The accessories were 3D printed by Chompworks

Buckles (Posted 5th August 2014)

For the belt and holsters I will be using cobra clips which looks like what they use in the movie. Still need to get one more :-)

Pattern (Posted 2nd August 2014)

I have chosen the quick sew catsuit pattern for this. I will make the pattern slightly bigger as I will need to add in the extra seams to shape the catsuit.

Weapons (Posted 2nd August 2014)

I just bought some small air soft guns for these which you can get quite easily. Mine where from a shop in Scarborough. The display one was blue and I asked for 2, when I got back I found one was orange. I will be spray painting these so hopefully it won't matter.

Gloves (Posted 2nd August 2014)

I managed to find a pair of gloves that look very similar which is awesome however they cost £50 and would need the finger ends cut off. Not sure if I want to spend that much so I'm looking for a good alternative. The gloves are Alpinestars Stella tylar

Shoulder patches (Posted 2nd August 2014)

The shield patches are pretty easy to buy, they look like they have a rubber texture but I'm sure the embroidered ones will look fine. I've ordered a pair from Amazon for £7.99 (inc shipping) they look blue but I will just dye these black. Still waiting for them to come.

Fabric (Posted 2nd August 2014)

Most of my research has been on what fabric to use. Since you can't buy the fabric used in the film I have tried to get the closest thing. People have used different fabrics which a look cool but I have chosen neoprene with power mesh over the top to create the same look, for the seams I will be using fold over elastic. Not sure how it will look yet as I only have the neoprene at the moment.

The beginning (Posted 2nd August 2014)

I have been searching the web for the best way to make my black widow Cosplay which has taken months of research. I'm going to keep a log as there are not many on the internet.

Boots (Posted 2nd August 2014)

I'm not to bothered about getting the boots spot on so I just searched for some that had a wedge heel and buckles. There are loads on ebay but I found these at my local Shoe Zone for £24.99

Wig (Posted 2nd August 2014)

I found a wig on arda-wigs.com called jane in pumpkin. I had to brush the curls out a bit which have it more length then styled the fringe. I'm really happy with how it looks so far.
