| The wig is evil; it took about 6 hours to complete - I started with a plain black wig, then I added a widows peak, and wefted it too. It bunches up quite easily, and its long, so even tied back it tangles. I quite like how it looks though XD The coat has been ordered, and I'm just waiting for it to arrive. I'd rather have made it myself but since I'm still new to sewing, a big leather coat with no actual pattern seemed a bit too difficult ^^ I made my own eyepatch, because I couldnt find one small enough to look like Xigs. No longer placed as 'In Progress' as I dont know when it'll be fixed up or completely finished xD Mainly due to other projects taking prority. Having this placed as 'in progress' also got kind of confusing at times, so I'm leaving it as 'Complete' for now. I'll just sort the guns out when I can ^^ | |

The Re-vamp (Posted 30th July 2009) I'm currently not very happy with this cosplay...mainly because of the wig! It takes around an hour to fix every time I wear it and it tangles far too easily, making it frizz. Thanks to all the wefting I did, its also hard to secure to my head, which isnt good considering its very back heavy ^^ I'm basically going to take the old wig apart, re-weft it, and try out one or two other tecniques which I think would make it look much better and make it easier to manage. The second stage of the re-vamp is already underway, despite the wig taking priority, which is the addition of the guns. These should be done over the summer... I hope xD Hopefully I can show some new progress on this soon! |
