Misaki Suzuhara from Angelic Layer because I love this series so much! Originally I was planning on cosplaying Hikaru, but decided I’d probably make a better Misaki...and I wouldn’t need tones of PVC XD .:.Things to make/buy.:. Brown Wig- Bought and cut! (Thanks Unaaaspiiiiii~) Hair Bands- ~~~ Uniform- Done! Blue Tights- Got! (Not exactly what I wanted but they'll do) Boots- Done! Hikaru- Finally complete! She’s not amazing but she'll do! [11-07-08] Finished up the Hairbands now,just about anyways i need to attach them to my wig some how! I think i will make a bag too but it won't be anythign too special ^-^ i hope it all looks ok! [03-07-08] Costumes just about complete, I just need to make the hair bands and cut the wig a little! So happy with this costume, I think it's my new favourite Cosplay, can't wait to wear it! Hopefully people will know who I am XD Tights arrived this morning, not exactly what I wanted (wanted full Lycra ones, like dancer tights) but they’re super expensive so I stuck with some normal lycra/nylon mix, they do the job, and they're comfy~ I've been thinking about making a little bag too...since this costume lacks pockets T-T~ [19-06-08] Started moving along with this costume more, finished off Hikaru this week, she's not perfect but she'll do! I really have to remind myself to stop myself when I have these crazy ideas.~-~' Currently hunting for some blue tights, yes tights... I’ve decided it wouldn’t matter too much if I wore tights or stockings because of the skirt length, and I’d feel much more comfortable. Ever since my Rosette Cosplay I’ve tried to avoid stockings as much as I can ._.' -not working~- having to tug them up every five seconds is really annoying~~~ I'm trying to hunt some Lycra ones down, as when they stretch you cant see through it as well and normal Nylon, but, alas...eBay sellers are proving difficult ¬_¬ Hopefully I’ll get hold of some at a reasonable price. [07-04-08] Finally got myself a wig, whilst browsing for a new Sakura wig I came across a nice lengthy chocolate brown one, it was pretty cheap too for such nice quality! Lady_Unaspi came around yesterday and got to work styling it, she’s so good! XD It still needs some work like making some hair bands (the ones in the progress pics are just craft foam) adding some extra hair in the front (Handlebars as Unaspi likes to call them XD) and some touch ups with feathering scissors.
