Costume Information

Description
Ok, so enough of the fluffy Effie Trinket. I am much happier with armour and weapons!!
This is my first attempt at EVA armour, so bear with me! It may take a while!

I spotted this fanart in CODEX: ADEPTA SORORITAS (EBOOK EDITION)

I really like the the draped nuns headdress and cyborg eye!

FOR THE EMPEROR!

Although those googly eyes that you are using for rivets make this look more like something from the Chaos legions at the moment ;)

The finished costume looks awesome. I’ll definitely be looking out for this at MCM.

Oh my word! This is AMAZING! Fantastic work on the costume, and you really look the part.

Loving the ridiculously over-sized boltgun :D

Journal

Canoness Completed (Posted 11th October 2014)

Here it is all put together!

Sword detail (Posted 11th October 2014)

I love this sword

breast plate done (Posted 11th October 2014)

All painted

Mod Podged (Posted 9th September 2014)

All decorated and mod pogded!

Breast Plate (Posted 9th September 2014)

I couldn't be bothered to construct a breast plate from scratch, so I came up with this ides. I found some 'seconds' WMA chest guards on ebay - less than a fiver - bargain , and covered them in thinner foam. I changed the straps to black so they don't show.

Big Swordy (Posted 7th August 2014)

I really didn't need a sword but couldn't resist making one for fun!

Three parts painted (Posted 7th August 2014)

Really getting there now!

Painted Pauldron (Posted 7th August 2014)

I felt this one was far too detailed, so painted it out and started again!

Boot tops with paint (Posted 7th August 2014)

Painted boot tops!

Painted Pauldron (Posted 29th July 2014)

All done with Humbrol paints

Black Paint (Posted 29th July 2014)

Painted in Rustoleum Matt Black - Plastidip is too expensive!

cloak (Posted 24th July 2014)

"You know nothing Jon Snow"

nearly finished bolter (Posted 24th July 2014)

Covered in foam ready to paint

Bolter (Posted 1st July 2014)

Made from plastic handgun and a go-cat box!

Purity seals (Posted 28th June 2014)

I made these by printing on to parchment paper and then adding a thin coat of varnish - the varnish soaks in and seals the paper making it waterproof, and it doesn't tear!

Cyborg Eye (Posted 23rd June 2014)

This is unpainted but you get the general idea - it wont be pink, it will look metallic! Then held on with elastic under my cowl.

Boot covers (Posted 23rd June 2014)

The boot covers are removable, held on with 1" elastic (I like my Rocket Dogs!)

Decoration for vambraces (Posted 23rd June 2014)

Decided to do different symbols on each vambrace

First Vambrace (Posted 14th June 2014)

I was so impressed how easy it was to work with EVA.
I used 8mm googly eyes to make 'rivets' and to make a knurled edge, I used some thin foam rod cut in half.
The foam has been blackened to seal the surface to make it better for the paint to stick
