Description
Last year, my cosplaypartner convinced me to cosplay Suu from Clover with her, for the danish World Cosplay Summit qualification round. While Im not a big fan of CLAMP-manga's, I like Clover a lot. There's a lot wrong with this costume though. I didnt have any money untill about 4 or 3 weeks before the convention, and as part of the money-issue, I didnt have enough money for GOOD materials. - I barely even had time to make the costume. I "finished" it one hour before I had to get on stage at the cosplay contest. I wanted to make the dress out of duchess satin, but ended up with some .. Other fabric I dont know the name of, haha. As for the wings.. This was the first prop I ever made. So yeah.. Made them out of cardboard and paperclay. Maybe not the best thing ever, but people liked the looks of it, so I guess its okay D: I painted the dress and wings with glow-in-the-dark paint, as most of our act depended on my dress glowing in the dark. - Sadly the con fucked up a lot of things, so it was nowhere dark enough in the room to get this effect. ;_; SIGH. But people liked the neon-colours that lighted up whenever it was dark enough around me. UnaSpi convinced me to make a new Suu costume at Fuyucon, which is fine with me. Hopefully I'll have more time and better materials this time :]
