Description
This was originally my first ever cosplay (Amecon 2004), but it was so naff and I made so many alterations to it that I decided to class it as 'first worn at Minami 11'. XD

So, it's made almsot completely from scratch. The red jacket is completely original made from a pattern (gasp, I CAN sew afterall! O_O) and the inner jacket is a hacked apart suit. When I say hacked apart, I make it sound half-assed. XD I'm not one to be big headed but this outfit is METICULOUS! XD LOL! I poured my heart and soul into its' creation and have tried to keep it as accurate and as neat as possible.
The trousers are leather with an added pocket for his silver watch. The boots are modified hiking boots (2 sizes too big for me XD) with red painted soles and silver hoops on the side. I made the belt from scratch too, though it rarely stays in place, dammit. ¬_¬;;
The wig is just a cheap wig that I messed around with and managed to eventually put into a braid, but MAN it's hard with such poor quality! o_0 I styled it with PVA glue and copious amounts of hairspray, and the antenna is wedged in with a hairclip. (It's the details that count XD)

To think I was nearly gnna sell this outfit! O_O I dug it out again for London Expo this year, 2007, and completed it with a new addition of automail hand. XD It's juts a painted glove, but it took a lot of work getting it to look 3D enough. Phew! And that's that! =3

I've had so much wonderfull feedback for this outfit that I blush just thinking about it! I've even been called the 'real' Edward Elric! *laughs* I guess being exactly the same height as him (4'11") really helps. ^_<
