|Time Taken :||1 year|
|I know most people are doing this right now haha|
But I just loooove Anna, so I don't care! x)
Let's have all the Annas and Elsas! *_* It's a wonderful movies!
I'm doing the embroidery on the top by hand, but I'll probably iron on the pattern onto the skirt, because doing that embroidery would take me ages :'D
I will post a detailed report on making this cosplay when it's finished. :3
I am done! WOHOOOOOO!! :D Took me about a year. XD (other costumes in between though haha)
Because a lot of people've been asking about the skirt flower and wavy patterns, here's a short explanation! :3
I'm horrible at explaing these things in English, but I'll try! xD
After hand embroidering the top and spent.... 30 hours on it, I decided I'd definitely not embroider the skirt.... because... just no. XD
So instead I used iron-on flock foil. It comes in a lot of different colours and you just need to cut out the shapes you want and and iron them onto your fabric. Mind you, it still look me a whole day, because cutting out all those shapes still takes time. xD
Also if you use flock foil instead of normal iron-on foil, it has a nice wool-ish look and feel to it which goes nice with Anna's wool fabrics. I'm happy with the outcome. I did all the other little patterns like that, too. (except the bodice)
As for the lighter blue wave-like parts - it's fabric. I just cut out the shape I needed, ironed on some light interfacing to stabilize it and then sewed it onto the skirt with a very small zick-zack stich.
A SNOW SHOOTING HAPPENED!!! *___*
I am so happy right now, I can't even!!
