Description
I really liked Gurren Lagann and I kind of wanted to cosplay Yoko for a while, but I was too nervous to do it. I decided to cosplay the maid version as I adore maid attire and it'd be something fun for one of the Kitacon evenings :)

Update:
Completed! Photos coming soon :)

Update #2:

Finally made some repairs to this costume, including adding details that were missing before, such as pocky chopsticks in the ponytail, fixing the buttons, etc. I also had a mini-photoshoot and got some better shots of this! I hope to get more in the future and re-wear it again ^^

Journal

Skirt progress (Posted 26th February 2014)

The maid skirt almost finished. Just needs an apron and some final hand stitching which shouldn't take me too long to make :)

White undershirt progress (Posted 26th February 2014)

Progress of the white undershirt, I still need to fix the puffy-ness of the sleeves, add button fasteners and iron the frills in the collar down. The black waistcoat is almost finished as well ~
