| I love the simplicity of the character designs in the Final Fantasy I and particularly like the white mage and black mage. Having a costume which is basically a large, wearable fleece blanket seemed like a nice idea to me and, as Dave said he'd be happy for me to make him a black mage costume, I decided to make this one. Because I stitched the triangles on by hand it took a bit of time to put together but apart from that it was a nice, easy costume to make. I originally wore this as a floor costume at Minamicon 14. I also wore it in the masquerade at Minamicon 15 with Dave as a black mage again when we did a skit. | |
