| Okay, gonna start this costume again, my old top was terrible! XD; I feel so ashamed! It's been cut apart for my Tsubasa sleeves anyways lol XD Now that I have paypal I can finally buy wigs off eBay without relying on friends! So I'm gonna buy myself a black spikey wig and work on this costume! =D I'll probably wear this just as a fun Summer thing, and it'll probably be my October back up if I don't have enough money to get materials for the other characters! ^_^; Got: - Drigger - Wig - Trousers To buy: - Blue ribbon/fabric - Yellow ribbon/fabric - 20cm red polycotton for red belt 03/08/08 Grr, somehow I had to spend 2hrs to get the trousers done! O___o;; Lots of chaos happened with the trousers but I got there eventually! Okay so I'm not quite happy with the bottom of the trousers where I've gathered them cause they're not all that neat at all but it's alright =P [Hah, it's funny because I've accidently made the trousers too short, oh noez ;_;] So trousers done, now onto the top! 24/07/08 Finally had time *coughtogetmysorrybuttoffthecouchcough* and styled my wig! It's not entirely accurate because it would have looked silly with just 6 spikes so I added a load of spikes at the back as well. They don't all point upwards either because I wanted to look fairly natural, not that spikey hair is natural anyway but that's beside the point *twitch* This was my first time styling an extreme style - it was really fun! Apart from gluing my fingers together; they weren't kidding when it read 'freeze hold' =S I also burnt myself a lot because of that wig, darn that hot glue gun! T-T [Used it for gluing the wefts together to create the bangs and to hold together the ponytail] The wig was based on both G-Rev and first season Rei, just because first season Rei's hair was my favourite but I'm doing G-Rev... Not that you can tell the difference in the wig because it's an absolute mess haha! XD Doesn't look like any of the season's... It's my own creation!? O_O 21/07/08 Base wig arrived today, horrah! Rubbish quality because it's a simple party wig but it works for this kind of thing! The spikes are shorter than I expected but I can live with that, once I find a victim and some hair glue I shall get styling away xD 15/07/08 Drigger arrived today, yaay! Though all the stickers and stuff have all fallen off whilst in the post! So I have to crack out my acrylics and paint on the details m'thinks, I get to use my new shiny paintbrushes, yaay! 8D Perfect for this kind of job <3 I'm still waiting for that wig too! I want to get styling! >_< I also need to make myself a launcher like Rei's. I got one of those mini ones unlike the ones from the show! I don't want to fork out more money on buying a launcher gun either so paper mache it is ohohoho! 8D Remaking this costume really wants me to make a Tala costume! Ooo and Kai; and the rest of the Bladebreakers! Soo many cosplays so little time! I want a Wolborg and Dranzer Beyblade anyways, I love Beyblade a little too much xD; | |

Aww, I remember when Beyblade first came out. I used to love it... I wish I still had my Dragoon Beyblade, but I can't remember where it went!
