Description
I did have this up a while back but had taken it down because plans had changed but it turns out I have an open day to be able to stand along side my other half as Gregor Eisenhorn. (sunsetdancer)

This has been on the table for a long time now! So it would be nice to get this done and sorted! :D

legs (Posted 7th January 2014)

:3

Shoulders and neck (Posted 15th December 2013)

They all go together really easily by a leather strapped system through the neck and down the shoulders to the second pair of pauldrons. It's all messy inside but is all covered up by the costume itself.

Vambraces (Posted 15th December 2013)

Got them on with three leather straps!

I had wondered how to get them together effectively and using some fanart this looked the best way to do it. I'm quite happy with how they stay on actually. Very sturdy!

Painted the base coats (Posted 2nd December 2013)

The shoulders and such are base coated. Waiting for the rest to dry to add a second coat.

Leggies! (Posted 2nd December 2013)

wasn't sure what details to do, so I looked at a lot of concept art and put together two or three designs. I went with less is more.

Began base coat (Posted 29th November 2013)

I first sprayed with a matte black spray first then went over the edges with a metallic gold acrylic. I'll weather it and bring down the brightness of the gold once I have each piece of the armour edging uniformly coated. Just want to get base colors down first!

front legs and back of vambraces (Posted 25th November 2013)

so much to do in the way of emblems..

priming and priming and priming (Posted 25th November 2013)

and priming and priming

Imperial Aquilla (Posted 19th November 2013)

This took so long to make and gave me so much hassle! Made from Worbla and craft foam again. Now to prime and paint!

shoulder emblem 1 (Posted 16th November 2013)

I messed up (Left) with mk 1 which was EVA foam that had been sanded into shape. It looked nice flat but the minute I started curving it to fit the shoulder it started to become wider and more clumsy so I decided to redo (Right) Which turned out a tonne better with just a layer of craft foam under neath the worbla.

test sculpt (Posted 14th November 2013)

Did layers in craft foam then covered it in one later of worbla just to see how it'd look. Only half the emblem I'm doing on the front part of the vambrace. It looks good so I think I'll make a sharper and cleaner full version and stick it on there :)

:D (Posted 13th November 2013)

yey

None of this is together at the moment, everything comes apart, so much detail to do. But got this done in two days so far, so I think I'm going at a good pace to get this done for Kitacon. Made from EVA foam, Worbla and craft foam. :)

Neck piece (Posted 13th November 2013)

Getting there slowly...

base shoulders (Posted 13th November 2013)

yet to be painted and all but still more details to add!!

corset! (Posted 11th November 2013)

found this in a shop in Birmingham for £50!

makeup test (Posted 11th November 2013)

gonna do more with the lips i think :)
Fleur de lis drawn on with eyeliner!
