|This one was totally not my fault!|
I found the series really fun and I think we'd all agree definitely has some very interesting character designs and story's!
However, I wouldn't have been as attracted to anything in the series had it not been for one man: Ōwada Mondo, or rather Kazuya Nakai. He's a pretty badass Japanese voice actor, always cast as r-rollin' Yakuza tough guys.
I loved this guy Mondo pretty much for the same reason I love most of my favorite anime characters, he's a dopey badass with a child's heart.
This cosplay took longer than I thought it would. The jacket was made using a womens coat, fabric painted and all the lettering on the back is done with t-shirt transfer paper all printed and individually cut out and ironed down.
My fiancee was cosplaying Junko too so she ended up helping me out with the jacket. The wig I did myself andI had a lot of questions as to how I made it.
I found a few tutorials online where people had used cardboard bases and stuck a wig around it so I just copied this idea really. I think it worked well considering the length and lightness of the actual thing.
I had A LOT of fun doing this cosplay and would gladly do it again sometime.
