EDIT: I shall be wearing this on Sunday at the London MCM Expo May 2009... hooray for surprise cosplays from the closet!! XD Haha, I only have one photo of this costume. This was worn at AnimeCon 2001 at the Liverpool Adelphi Hotel, 22nd August. OLD SKOOL!! Pretty much everything was very cleverly sourced, one bit at a time whilst scrounging the markets and second hand stores during a holiday to Tokyo. So although I didn't sew this outfit from scratch myself, each element of the outfit was totally authentic and took me a while to find! Of course, this was back when there wasn't too much drama over buying/sourcing vs handmade, but we were all very young and inexperienced back then XD Gah, I didn't even get the hair completely right... kicks old self
