|Took a lot of guts when I first put it on. But I'm quite used to it now, which is a little disturbing now I think about it. |
Got the nurse dress off ebay for 99p new.
Had to swap out the piping to the collar and sleeves as it was lemon when I got it.
Made the vote for Harvey Dent sticker.
Used a Citizens for Batman badge that was given out as a promotional item for the film in place of a nurses badge on the collar. I thought it added a nice ironic touch.
Once you get the nurse shoes on it makes it easy to adopt the walk that Heath had in these scenes. Sort of Chaplinesque.
Seems to go down well when I wear it to Cons. Gets alot of laughs. Puts a smile on peoples faces and I'm all for that.
Couple of observations whilst in costume and never having to think of these kinds of thing before
1. Never stand silhouetted against the sun. You won't be leaving anything to anybodies imagination not in that dress.
2. Steer clear of sudden gusts of wind.
3. When bending down to have photos taken with children, keep a firm grasp on the bottom of the dress.
