Costume Information

Description
AAAAAHHHHHH.

I fell in love with her design the second I saw her on screen! WOW! I really debated waiting more to see more of her but after the latest episode and mulling on it, I definitely want to do her! I can't wait to get this done!!

This is new to me, a little less cloth than I'd normally wear but with my weight loss I'm keen to see if I can pull this off!

Doing this for Kita!

Comments

I bet this is going to look just as amazing as your other cosplays! Cant wait until to see more!! :)

Great work Charlotte! Looks Fab.
What is this 'clingfilm and tape your self' method for making corsets? It has worked brilliantly. :)

Journal

Neck, legs, arms (Posted 25th February 2014)

yeah
almost done I've opted for a battle damaged version hence the cuts and scrapes. At the moment they're all tied at the back like a corset so I need to work on something to hold it on better.

crown (Posted 15th February 2014)

All done, found a pair of perfect tear drop earrings for the detail. The crown is weathered but the filter kind of diluted the color here.

Details (Posted 5th February 2014)

Got a gold gel pen and free handed the gold designs :D Now to seal it all!

first layer (Posted 12th January 2014)

first layer of paint is on. Done both sides now just need to let it all 100% set before I begin adding teeny details then painting the red on!

sword layers (Posted 12th January 2014)

laser cut from various thickness' of acrylic and wood depending on the part it was needed for. Basic shapes here ready.

headpiece (Posted 7th January 2014)

made from worbla

legs (Posted 7th January 2014)

Some bumps to pierce and straighten out but thigh armour for pyrrha is sorted at least.

Applique! (Posted 6th January 2014)

Decided to have worbla for the front applique because now it will hold the shape about my bust better currently letting it harden on my mannequin then I will reshape the points to lay flat on my skin.

:D (Posted 29th September 2013)

so far! Not boned not appliqué added but all corseted up and ready to carry on tomorrow.

Rivets? (Posted 29th September 2013)

I'm not sure what they're supposed to be ( I assume armour rivets as I considered making her bask out of armour but it looks more like leather to me, regardless I added the details!

Patterning the appliqué (Posted 29th September 2013)

Just patterning the appliqué for the top, will be out of the same gold silk used for the front panel of the corset. Really thick and nice to work with material wise.

corset (Posted 29th September 2013)

I patterned the corset out to fit me nicely. :D (using the clingfilm and tape yourself method!)

sash (Posted 20th September 2013)

I got some progress down for Pyrrha after putting it off. after being stuck with a moon boot on for about 8 weeks for my broken foot it is eventually off today! So I made the most of my freedom and ran about to get the miniskirt and sash done.
It looks like its laying a little odd here, I had to tie it with a hair tie for now until I grab some clips for it then make the small circle to hold it all in place, it lays like an S at the end after using an old pattern I used for Rozalin's bows.

This cosplay is a little more revealing than my usual! I hope I look ok! I'm not very fond of showing off my thighs or stomach!!
