New lace front wig (Posted 21st May 2016)

New lace front wig from Wigisfashion that I bought for Elizabeth, since the first wig I used was difficult to restyle each time I wore it. And the new choker I made for the 'songbird' outfit.

Revisiting Elizabeth (Posted 21st May 2016)

Revisiting Elizabeth from Bioshock Burial at Sea for a studio shoot.

As I'm planning to rewear her 'clean' version for Dragon Con, I bloodied a second shirt up using Fleet St Bloodworks Drying blood in dark and Tim Holtz Distress spray stain in mahogany - best thing about this stuff is its dries. If I'm staining a rewearable costume with blood this is so important.

Will slash into the fabric here and there after its dried.

Wig (Posted 24th October 2013)

Wig styled.

Wig styled (Posted 23rd October 2013)

From a straight to wavy wig, very happy how this turned out, will need some hair grips to keep the one side back.

Outfit complete (Posted 22nd October 2013)

Princess seams were added to the shirt before taking it in and altering the white collar slightly so that it hides beneath the black one.

Wig progress (Posted 22nd October 2013)

Bought a long dark brown wavy wig, trimmed it and started to heat form the curls, example on the right of how the one section turned out after a using the hairdryer method.
Will be keeping the rollers in for a couple of days to get the wig to curl under, applying more heat before taking them out. The fringe is long but will be sweeping/pinning it back.

Cuffs (Posted 22nd October 2013)

I made the cuffs, using a medium weight interfacing for support, added the same white trim, small press studs to fasten and faux white buttons.

Collar, ribbon and brooch (Posted 22nd October 2013)

I used a separate collar to cover the one on the shirt, added the white trim and the ribbon attaches with the brooch pin. I used the reverse of the ribbon rather than the shiny side.

Skirt belt detail (Posted 19th October 2013)

Using stretch fabric I made the belt separate, it attaches with hook's at the back. I added piping detail and cut down a red belt, modifying the buckle slightly.

Tights/Skirt progress (Posted 16th October 2013)

Managed to find some fishnet seamed tights and added the trim to the skirt.

Shoes (Posted 21st September 2013)

Bought a pair of t-bar shoes and used small straps of pleather to create the design on the toe, adding small studs into the t-bar strap.
